Appearance:Tan skin. Dark brown eyes with glints of yellow. Dark brown(almost black), long, wavy hair that always gets in his face. Lean, slender, well-toned body from years of exercise. Scar running across his left shoulder-blade to his right hip. 3 piercings on each ear(A dare.), but doesn't wear them often. Always has a pocket knife handy for tough situations, as well as his chained dog tag around his neck.
Personality: Growing up with his caretaker Silena he has made him grow up to be slightly pacifist, never wanting to fight. Although he hate fighting when angered he can get rather violent and threatening, due to his wild, untamed wolfish half. Once angered it takes a great deal to calm him down. When in tough situations he tries to keep a cool head and calm demeanor-failing miserably. Because of his long aging process he has survived and lived through world changing events, such as the Civil War-actually fighting in it at one point. Because of this fact he has gained many skills and intelligence that has been able to help him out. Because of his high temper he can easily get into a quarry by his own fault. This is one of his flaws, always riled up, so his friends keep telling him.
History: Richard never knew his mother or father, but hints of his heritage was reveled when Silena let it slip that a old legend said that a average hunter fell in love with a wolf goddess. For some reason he can't recall anything before 11, remembering only waking up from a long "sleep" to see Silena, a powerful witch, waiting for him. Since that point on he has been living with her over the past centuries, seeing how both of them age slowly, if at all. When trying to protect Silena from a abusive hunter he received a gash across his back, it now being a scar.
Transformation: Just like that of legend Richard transforms during a full moon. He is not like other werewolves, such as Woxy, who can voluntary transform at will whether it be day or night, full moon or not. He is restricted to changing on he full moon. To be literal you could say he has two forms: the weaker and stronger halves of it. Every
night, except on a full moon, he can transform into a regular wolf, though it's much bigger than a regular alpha-male. During these average nights he still retains some part of his humanity and can control himself to some extent. But on that one day a month he loses every part of himself, always forcefully. Regular nights he's just a big-ass wolf, but on a full-moon he's a wild-crazed werewolf.(Think of Vanhelsing-how it walked and acted) Every time he transforms it causes him pain, even on average nights. Sometimes it hurts him beyond compare and others it's just a sharp pain shooting up and down his spine.
Weakness: Like most werewolf stories Richard is deeply effected by silver, but only when it's stabbed into him, shot at him, and even injected into him. He likes a laugh so he wears a silver cross to fool around with uninformed hunters that don't know what they're doing.
Strengths: He has super strength, speed, and a kick-ass healing rate. Because he's a werewolf he has the average sense upgrade-better eyesight, hearing, sense of touch, and such. His teeth, when he's rallied up and not really paying attention, become sharper and tougher, able to rip the flesh off whatever he wishes. His nails grow longer and sharper as well, just as effective as any sword in a fight. Because of his overlong aging he has been through many situations and events, allowing him to gather many skills and experience. These have always helped him out on many occasions.
