PostSubject: Getting things rolling.   Getting things rolling. EmptySat Feb 27, 2010 2:49 pm

((Okay everyone. We seriously need to start role-playing. I'd you guys to introduce a character here and we'll freestyle it out.))

The icy temperatures of Canada had always drawn all sorts of scary creatures. Hunters and humans normally don't enjoy the cold and are sparse in the dark shadows of the woods. Here, the monsters have gained some sort of peace and feast when they wish it so. The innocents that became meals were not often missed, and when they were, the attack was assumed to be by a bear or other ferocious animal.

This was where Jefferey was headed. For years, he'd read about the overrun cities of creatures that no one really noticed. He was going to check it out. Tugging on a blond lock of hair, he frowned at his laptop. The city he was aiming for was only a few miles north of here, but he couldn't get there in a car. Of course, he thought to himself. I have to hike there.

PostSubject: Re: Getting things rolling.   Getting things rolling. EmptyTue Mar 02, 2010 9:48 pm

A snowflake landed on Woxy's nose making her go cross-eyes to observe it. A delicate pattern was edged into ever unit of it. It soon melted against her skin and a droplet of water dripped down her nose. Her lips turned up in a warm smile as she began jumping around the sow covered forest. The sky above was a pale blue and the thin trees around her were dark and mysterious looking.

She laughed lightly when a branch snapped under her weight. The leaves whispered in the wind as she passed by them. She jumped so far the only thing that saved the little girl from falling flat on her face was the action of putting both of her small hands flat against the snow/dirt floor. She didn't get back into an erect, standing position but began to frolic around some more on all fours. Her sweet smile turned into some of a mischievious grin with an animal-ish glint. Oddly enough the teeth inside her small lips began to grow longer and sharper.

Her face grew into a muzzle like structure and white fur as bright as the snow began to cover her entire body. Once bright blue eyes turned amber and grew larger. A tail sprouted out and her tail bone grew; soft pads started covering the palms of those small delicate hands and loud snaps could be heard as bones rearranged themselves. Soon it was only a small white pup in the forest instead of a small eight year old child.

The once fair haired girl bounced around in the snow, taking no notice of the surrounding area. It didn't seem to have anything to fear despite the unnatural stillness and cold weather. It yipped happily as it got a small twig into the its mouth. A pink tongue sticking out at an odd angle giving the pup a comical look.

((Yeah... I know. Not very good but ohs well. lol! Canada? Really? cheers ))

Jeffery sighed at the long expanses of snow and forest. Here in the car, he was mulling over the coming trek. How fabulous the walk sounded. Snow that could vary in thickness from a few inches to a few feet and shadows that could hide anything in the coming cold. He opened the car door.

The cold hit him instantly as he swung his legs out. He cursed the snow and walked over to the trunk. Jeff pulled a few knives and a gun and strapped them to himself. He turned to a small, beaten path that wound up to the city and grimaced. This was probably not the coolest vacation ever. He rolled his eyes at himself and started onto the trail.

After many minutes of snow, trees, snow and the occasional tree, Jeffery found himself standing at the edge of a large clearing. The snow was half-melted and the ground had muddy patches. He scanned the elongating shadows with a weary eye. for a moment, he thought he'd seen something, a flash or movement.

Woxy stopped in her running around suddenly and looked up toward where she had picked up some sound. The ears that sat on top of her head twitched as she heard something slam in the distance. The small paws that had once been bouncing around carelessly pawed the ground, scraping snow with unusually sharp claws.

It had been some while since she had been in society and around humans, but the sound of a car door slamming was unmistakable.

Without thought, her paws took her forward a few paces. Forward to the intruder of her fun. Snow still fell down from the pale sky, swirling around her.

Her acute hearing made her furry ears twitch even more as the sound of fumbling was heard, some more clicking too. Straps were being pulled and tightened.

She froze as the sound stopped suddenly and the little pup could feel the intent gaze on her. Woxy stayed frozen like that for a few more seconds before continuing with her cautious pace forward. Not knowing what was drawing her near the intruder, maybe it was curiosity, maybe not. It occurred to her that this... person might be a potential threat but that didn't matter. It was the thrill of the risk that made her move forward.

She was so close to the person that she could see the shiny exterior of the car, dark as night; there was a thin layer of snow on the car even though it had only been there for a small amount of time. She couldn't see the person that she had heard earlier on. She assumed they had gone into the forest. They wouldn't even know she was there. More steps toward it and she was out of the undergrowth. She was so close the if she reached out a little more, her nose would be able to touch the car itself. She reached out to touch it. Centimeter at a time.

PostSubject: Re: Getting Things Rolling   Getting things rolling. EmptySat Apr 10, 2010 11:23 pm

"Roxy...?" Richard called out, his voice echoing throughout the empty house. He cautiously stepped into the warmness of the household and out of the chilly outdoors. He closed the door behind him, still minding to have a steady hold of the groceries in his hands. "Hey, Rox... You there? Hello?"

He tensed, waiting for flying vases to come his way. There was nothing of the sort. Nor was there any screaming of the wrong pronunciation of "Woxy", or even the crash of breakable objects hitting the wall. To simply put it-nothing was about.

It was a clear sign that chaos was about to be unleashed.

The dark brown-haired teen hurried toward the kitchen without another thought, his foot steps booming in the hall way. Discarding the bag he was holding on the island table he went around the house. "Rox..." He called out only to be answered by his own voice as it came right back at him. "Rox!" Racing up the stairs by two he proceeded into searching the house, checking all the rooms upstairs.

Every room was empty.

That last room he checked was Roxy's. Barging in he quickly examined it only to find that it was too vacant. All her stuff was scattered across the floor like always-clothes, pictures, stuffed animals, etc. Her bed was a mess and her green walls covered with pictured of many animals that fascinated her(Hyenas). The only thing different was that her black drapes pulled back, revealing the window to be wide open.

He took one good look at it and then...

"I'm gonna kill her."

Jeffery knelt in the snow, glaring at the tiny ice crystals with venom. It was as if the ground would suddenly tell him every thing it knew...if Jeff glared long enough. Unfortunately, he was left to decipher the impressions by himself. Grumbling about weather, he moved forward again and scanned the snow. There. His gaze snapped to a piece of earth that had obviously been lain on. The snow had been melted and crushed by a small body. And speculating from the way the body was spread, it was most likely human. He followed the tracks with a frown.

The tracks changed, then. Shifting into something on all fours. It was obvious that he was dealing with some sort of werewolf-a young one. He stomped after the paw prints, realizing suddenly that it was headed for the road. Good, I hope it gets run over. Jeff pulled out his handgun, loading it with some of his silver bullets.

He broke through the line of trees and glanced around. There was his car, and the road. He raised his gun at the small wolf pup nearing his car.

Woxy stopped; her nost barely touching the cool metal of the vehicle. By some unexplained instinct she froze every muscle in her body. She wanted to run but something inside her told her that doing that would be instant death.

The two small ears twitched as a clicking sound reached her. Her eyes narrowing on the sleek metal in front of her. Although her own body was in alert her breath remained calm. Not sure of what to do she waited; she didn't have enough experience in survival or life itself to know what to do in this situation.

Not even half a second went by before another sound skitted to her ears, making them twitch more. It was the sound of feet poundoing on the forest floor. The thrumming of the forest around her and the continuous footsteps of her savior made her all the well aware of him.

Richard.

He had come to save her. Again. The statement brought down her spirits. If only she could help. When the moment arrived she was determined to rise to the occasion.

PostSubject: Re: Getting Things Rolling   Getting things rolling. EmptySun Apr 18, 2010 10:22 pm

Richard's feet pounded against the forest floor. The hard, compacted snow made it difficult to walk, much less run. Difficult, not impossible. He made his way toward his goal without so much as a slip-up or anything of the sort.

He growled in anger as he imagined his little pup out and about playing around, all the while knowing all the danger that resided in every corner. Every time he was out or gone Roxy always took the chance to escape from the house, never wanting to play inside, always implying that it was "boring." No matter how many times he scolded her she never listened. Never. This time she was gonna learn her lesson.

As the wind blew his way he smelled a familiar smell. Roxy. Even as he recognized it he identified another, more unknown scent. Immediately he zeroed it out as an enemy scent and bristled. If it was not know it was dangerous, and had to be eliminated. That's what his instincts told him and at this point he would listen to them.

Leaping up to a slick boulder, managing not to slip off, he bounded on all fours from boulder to boulder. When coming to the last one he jumped onto a pine-tree. The bark was rough but his newly-formed claws were effective in climbing, though his Vans were another thing. Minus the problem with his shoes he bounded his way up the tree, making sure not to rustle much of the fragile branches and pine needles.

Richard stopped at one of the last thick branched that could hold his weight at this height, looking around for his little pup. everything was clear as day in this level, and there was so fog to block his view, though the snow was annoying. After a minute he spotted something-a black, sleek car. It was almost invisible because of the amount of snow covering it's exterior. What else was almost invisible was the little shape close to it. The white fluff was unmistakable and recognizable.

"Crap..." He muttered under his breathe, squinting his eyes even more. There! What he saw was unmistakable. A man with the silver glint of his gun aiming straight for his pup.

Without a second thought Richard launched himself from his original perch to another branch that was far off. Not even a second passed by as he launched to another, and another, and another. He didn't bother to look down. His only focus on what was ahead of him.

As he jumped he came closer to the ground, his branches lower and lower. Soon he was only a few feet, maybe fifteen, above the ground. But he kept on jumping through the trees. Before he knew it he saw a shape in his sight, and a shining object. It was the man holding the gun.

The gun that was pointed straight at his little pup.

A low snarl built in his throat, rumbling in his chest, ready to be released. It was low but intimidating and clearly threatening. Holding it in for a few moments he let it gather inside him before releasing it. Baring his fangs he ran into the man, his clawed hands aiming for the throat.

Jeffery momentarily glanced away from the were-pup to stare at the trees. The loud noise crashing through the branches made him drop the end of the gun, pointing it harmlessly at the ground. He glanced back at the pup, a questioning look on his face. A large shape crashed into him and Jeff's handgun clattered to the ground. The weight of the wolf and gravity flung him to the asphalt road, his head hitting it with a uncomfortable slam. The force of the impact sent him deep into unconsciousness.

Jeffery groaned quietly. His head, shoulders and back ached with obvious bruises and cuts. Avoiding movement when possible he silently checked for any injuries that weren't from the fall. After a long moment, he concluded that the shallow gash on his shoulder was from the outstretched claws of the wolf. He sighed. At least it would heal quickly.

Jeff tentatively open his eyes, unsure of what to expect. What he didn't expect, though, was the young face above him. A small girl. He rubbed his eyes and sat up. He was in a bedroom, full of tons of stuffed animals. He immediately noticed his missing weapons and turned to the girl.

Woxy was very happy. To say in the least.
She was going to have a SLEEPOVER!

It didn't matter that the person she was going to 'party' with tried to kill her. She liked to look at the bright side of things. It also didn't matter that Richard was angry with her; he would get over it sooner or later.

It had been hard to get Richard to let the "gun-man" to stay in her room. It had taken a lot of begging and a reminder of the groceries he had dropped on the way to her... Rescue.
He stared at her blankly for a moment before forming his mouth into a circle and uttering a small 'Oh'. He rushed out to receive the food that would feed them for the next two weeks. Woxy could hunt but she always made a face when it was suggested and said that 'it was too messy'.

As she looked down at the young man that seemed to have a scowl glued to his face she smiled happily. Her and Richard hardly got visitors and she wan not going to waste the moment.

So she got right to his face and asked sweetly, "Do you wanna play tea party?"

Jeffery was startled by the innocent invitation from the were-girl. He eyed her carefully, trying to figure out if it would be best to follow her wishes or if she might...attack him. After a long pause, he nodded. "Um sure."

The little girl was shining with joy.

Richard never played tea party with her. He said that it was 'embressing for a guy to be dressed up' like she wanted him too. Since Richard was the only one in the house with her usually and he always said no, she had to play with her stuffed animals and her lonesome self. Visitors were rare and, sure enough, she always asked them, no DEMANDED them to play tea party with her. It was the only time she could be a kid and pretend she was a princess. And who didn't want to be a princess?

Richard apparently.

She was currently wearing a big floppy hat with a bright green ribbon and a dark purple dress. Around her neck was countless beads and charms, surrounding one giant peace sign symbol. In her hands was a white tea cup which matched the set on the small table she was sitting at. Across from her was the gun-man. He was still tied up but that didn't bother her one bit... She was playing tea party after all.

She had draped a feathery, pink scarf around his neck and he was currently switching cautious looks between the danger girl and the equally dangerous teacup in front of him.

She pretended to drink the invisible tea; holding the cup delicately with her picky out. It was a polite thing to do.
She grinned broadly at the young man.
"Pink is so your color."

"What. The. Hell."

Richard was surprised, shocked actually, to find out what had become of the unconscious gunman. When he left him in the care of Roxy he was slightly worried for his little pup, stuck in the same room with that stranger. The thought of him waking up any moment made Richard just a bit anxious and so he only agreed to it if the man was securely tied. Roxy was ecstatic, she'd finally gotten her lone-waited playmate.

After tending to the groceries that he'd dropped in haste of finding Roxy; he'd went back to the pup's room to see one of the weirdest sights he had ever seen. Roxy, in her average wacky outfit was pouring some "tea" into the cup of the gunman, who was still tied up and now wearing a pretty pink scarf. The gunman looked at Roxy with apprehensive brown eyes, the scarf mixing in with his blond hair. His little pup was taking no notice of this look and was only focused on making sure not a drop of "tea" was spilled.

He stepped in the room, a look of disbelief on his face. "Rox, what's going on...?" He asked, his eyes switching from his pup and the stranger.

Roxy looked up from what she was doing and gave him a big, adorable smile. It was so full of happiness and child-like nature. He wasn't fooled one bit. "What do you mean? We're just havin' a tea party here." After a small pause her smile got bigger, if that was even possible. "Do you wanna play?" Her striking green eyes resembled daggers to him for some reason.

"Uh, no." Walking over to her, Richard crouched down so that he was at her level. "What I really mean is, 'Why are you having a tea party with someone who tried to kill you?'"

Roxy's face plainly said, "Why not?" Instead of vocally answering him she picked up another tea cup that seemed to magically appear and offered it to him. "C'mon, play! Please!"

Richard ignored the cup, stating his decline. "Like I said, no."

"Please!"

"No."

"Please!"

"No."

"Please! With cherries and sprinkles on top!"

'No."

"I won't steal from stores anymore!"

"No-Wait, what!?"

"Please!" Roxy practically wailed it out.

Richard snapped his head when he heard a cough, as did Rox's. He realized that the man hadn't said so much as a word during this whole thing. He was staring at them like they were crazy. Maybe he was right.

Jeffery smothered the amusement on his face and glared at the wolf boy. He frowned and tried to look menacing in the feathery scarf. "So, what exactly are you planning to do with me? Eat me? Change me? Torture me by leaving me to the devices of a monster girl?" He asked suddenly.

((Annnd Trisha))

Trisha Walker scanned the living room with a surprised look. Small signs led her to believe that her family had company. Here and there she could see minuscule drops of blood and the smell of a human hung in the air along with Richard and Woxy. She sighed. This couldn't be good.

Making her way around the house, sniffing for the human's blood. Her keen ears picked up the sound of voices and she followed it with a small smile. A guest, she thought happily. Someone-hopefully-she could be somewhat nice to. She opened the door to Woxy's room with a small smile and raised her eyebrow at the boy tied up. She smirked at him and skipped in. Trish rubbed the glowering boy's head and seated herself next to Richard.

Woxy frowned. Monster girl?

Was that what she was to other people. She dropped her eyes as she thought this, then raised them instantly when she heard light footsteps bounding through the house. She smiled widely, she had heard the sound before, a walk with a happy skip to it.

She was home! Was all she could think of before the door opened and Trisha entered. She clapped her hands wildly while jumping up and down and squealing joyfully. She then ran straight to the older girl and hugged her tightly; all the while still smiling. "Trisha!"

She was so excited that her words came out all at once and it sounded like hyper speed.

"Yay! Yourback. IwassoboredherallalonewithjustRichard! HeneverwantstoplayteapartyordressupsoIneverhavesomeonetoplaywith! AndwhenthisguysaidhewouldplayteapartywithmeRichardcameandruineditall!"

She paused for a breath. Her chest puffing up and down for a few seconds before she continued with her fast talking squeals.
Youshouldsmackhimorsomething. Wait! Iknow, youcouldtiehimupsidedownfromthechandelierandthemhithimwithabanana! Thatwouldbesocool! Youshoulddoit,orIcouldhithimwithalamp. Thatworkstoo! Imsohappyyoucame!

With all she wanted to say said she looked up and smiled sweetly. Her small fists full of Trisha's clothes and her cheek pressed to the leg she was clinging on. If she had a tail that very moment it would be wagging.

"AND, I almost died!" Woxy bragged, she wanted everyone she had escaped death.

Then she she pulled until Trisha's head was next to hers. "Also,"she whispered. "I put some poop I found in the yard in Richard's socks. Shh..." She put her lips to her mouth with a sly smile."Don't tell."

With all that said and done she turned to Richard, smiled and looked as innocent as she possibly could. "Richard! Your feet look cold. You should go and put on your socks!"

Trisha swung the excited little girl into her arms and grinned. "What happened?" She asked with a small, concerned frown. "Did the boy get you?" She gave the human a quick glare and Jeffery looked away. She bared her teeth at him threateningly and he looked a little pale. Trish smiled and placed Woxy back onto the ground. She turned to Richard with a frown.

"Why is our house guest tied up? It's not like he could get away from my amazing skills." She gave her blonde hair a small flip and placed herself in between Richard and Jeff. "I cold notify you if he even goes near the door. No problem, I'm already in his head and he doesn't even know it."

Jeffery winced at the girl's words and realized unhappily, that the elder girl was a wraith. "Awesome." He muttered. Trisha whipped around to snarl at him. He paled again and shrank back.

Richard rolled his eyes at the she-wolf, resisting the urge smack her. Trish always seemed to be where the situation was at, like a seventh sense. It was uncanny.

"Nice of you to join us." He said sarcastically.

Ignoring his pup's insignificant chatter of relaying the day, he turned toward the man. He smiled dearly. "So..." He let his sentence lead on hoping the man would reply and be a stoic freak of nature. Sadly, that was not so.

"What's your name...?" He asked. Again no answer. Just a plain, simple stare.

Richard frowned, flicking a few stray strands of hair out of his face. This is going to be fun.

Woxy stopped her talk of all the things she did while Trisha was gone and looked at the man in the pink scarf.

"It's impolite to not talk back." She huffed as she walked back to the table with her tea set on it. She picked up a stuffed animal that was on the floor; a dull and worn looking, green teddy bear with a bright blue bow. She set it in front of the quiet man and placed her elbows on the table, leaning her head on the palms of her hands with her head slightly cocked to the side.

With no answer from the man, just staring. She shifted her feet; all this staring was making her teddy feel uncomfortable. Poor TEDDY!

"Oh I know what's wrong!" She said happily, getting out of her position and skipping to the other side of him where Richard was standing. "We have to introduce ourselves first! That's the polite way of things!"

She smiled and pointed to herself. "I'm Woxy! And this," She told him pointing to the bear in front of him. "is Dr. Ninja-Pants!"

She laughed out loud, although nothing was very funny. Maybe is was hormones... or maybe she was just crazy. Who knew?

She picked up a tea cup and threw it at Richard. "That's Richard! He's annoying so you don't have to worry about him."
Pointing to Trisha she told him earnestly, "That's Trisha! She's like super uber awesome because she plays dress up with me."

"If you don't say your name I'm just going to call you 'Mangeur De Chaussette'" She told him with an overused French accent.

((xD Yeah, I have no idea what we're going to do.))

Jeffery eyed the teddy bear with a small frown. He glanced up at the small girl, and then back to the bear. Then he turned to look at Trisha with a confused expression. Finally, he turned and glared at the Richard boy. He looked back at Roxy with a small smile. "Where did he get his doctorate in ninja? I wish I could learn how to be a ninja." He glanced around. "Uh, my name's Jeff. So...what are you going to do with me?" He asked, again glaring at Richard.

"Sorry," Trish chuckled. "I'm the middle child, I don't get to be the decision-maker." She grinned at Jeffery and hugged Woxy to her side.

Getting things rolling. Empty
PostSubject: Re: Ggetting Things Rolling.   Getting things rolling. EmptyWed May 05, 2010 10:28 am

Richard sighed, unsure of what to do. Many ideas popped into his head, each crazier than the next. One idea was to kill the guy altogether, but that wouldn't be human. Or maybe leave him somewhere to die. No, that wouldn't be good either. Actually, that seemed just as bad. Maybe he could let Rox keep him for a while as a playpal... No, that would be torture. Worse than it.

Well, we can't just him go. The instant we lay are eyes off him he'll not be hesitant to stab us in the backs-literally. He frowned. The guy had to have some stuff to try to go against werewolves in a 3 to 1 situation. They weren't invincible, but they weren't that easy to kill. He knew that a human wouldn't pose much of a threat, but something about this guy gave him second thoughts. Hmm... I wonder...

Richard bit his lip, sighing once more, came to his conclusion. "Okay, here's what I'll do." He He turned toward his little pup. "You stay away from him." He then turned toward Trish, getting serious. Maybe she'd listen. "You, don't bother to get associated with him. He's gonna leave anyway so..."

Lastly Richard turned his attention to the man in front of him. Serious set face, hard eyes, pressed thin line. This guys was a total hunter, no doubt about it. Every part of his wolf side screamed out to lash at this guy, to kill him. He was an alpha wolf and this guy also had the stuff to be too. It didn't take long for two alphas to start fighting to the death. This situation was near around the same. "You are going to take a nice long trip away from here. And if you come back you'll find us gone, the house burned, and everything vanished. No trail to follow."

Inside him the wolf screamed and howled for blood to be spilled, for guts to be ripped out, and a fight to happen. Running wasn't part of it's plan. It would rather fight like a real wolf. Sadly, Richard wasn't that kind of wolf.

Though he wanted to be.

Trish almost laughed at the expression on Richard's face, deep in thought. Smothering a chuckle with a cough and turning to watch Jeffery, she listened to her brother's threat with mild anticipation. She could already hear the thoughts whipping around in the hunter's head. "So, you're planning to take away Roxy's new playmate? That's going to break her heart. It's not like you play with her."

Jeff narrowed his eyes at the wolf with a scowl. "And what makes you think that you can make me leave? I doubt that you can throw off all of your trails. The only way that you can get rid of me, would be to kill me." He said smugly.

Are you trying to get yourself killed? What has it been? A week since I last stepped in to save your ass? Jeffery grinned at the voice with a small feeling of relief. It was Kax. Did you think I had left? Why would I do that? You're my favorite mortal in the whole wide world.

"Yeah," Jeff said aloud. "That's what I thought."

The small, blonde headed girl whipped her head as the grown-ups talked about 'serious stuff'. She was playing with Dr. Ninja Pants, but suddenly stopped when she heard that the frowning man was leaving. She had finally got another friend and now he had to go.

"Your leaving?" She asked, her bottom lip wobbling a little. Her greenish eyes threatening to overflow with the tears that wanted to escape. Her back was slightly hunched, her little fist that wasn't holding desperately holding onto the bear was held into a tight fist.

It didn't help that the man was smiling, as if he wanted to leave.

"Awww...." Her frown could have broken hearts instantly. Taking that few steps that brought her to the frowning man and grabbed the sleeve of his arm. Pulling on it hard she started to wail, "Why are you going?! You said you would play tea party with me! You don't even know the ways of the ninja! How will you survive! What if a bear eats you or a squid chokes you to death!"

"It's not fair! I don't want you to leave!" She wailed as loud as she could. "It's not fair! I hate you!"

She hated all of them. It wasn't fair. It wasn't fair at all. She never got to play with new friends. It wasn't allowed. It was too dangerous. In that moment she didn't want anything to do with them. Didn't want to me anywhere near them.

She ran out of the room before anyone could stop her; tears spilling out and down her face.

She didn't care that Richard and everyone told her not too, she was going outside into the forest.
She continued to run further even after she passed the small garden she and Trisha had planted a while back. She wanted just to leave. To go and just think.

She was going to run away and never look back.

"Rox!" Richard yelled after the girl as she ran past him out the door. She didn't answer, Either not hearing him or not bothering to answer. His hand caught open air as he reached out toward her in what seemed like slow motion. "Rox! Come back here!"

All she wanted was a playmate. Someone to play with, talk with, or even laugh with. Yes, she had Trish and him, but it wasn't the same as having someone there. They were her family, not strangers. She needed others her age. She needed friends.

Even as she wailed Richard knew that she was only a kid. A little girl who wanted to have fun. Going through of having to move because some person you've never met wanted you dead just for existing was a hard living. Having to keep distance with everyone to make sure they weren't going to kill you. Or always being cautious because you weren't sure of who or what to trust.

The worst part was that when she pleaded with him-No, not him, the man. That when she yelled at the man for having to go he just sat there and smile. There she was being sad and he had a smile on his face.

He smiled.

That was hurtful, not to Richard, but to Rox. That made her sadder even more. That smile-the gruesome, devilish smile-made his little pup sad. No one-and he meant no one-ever made his pup sad. He'd hurt the bastard that did. And it just so happened that the bastard was in the same room as him, tied to a chair, and immobile.

"You..." Richard strode over to the mad, Jeffery-whatever-his-name-was. Grabbing a fistful of his shirt Richard lifted him off the ground, his nails dipping int the thin and pitiful fabric, carrying the chair with him as well. He had Jeffery right up to his face, growling and baring his fangs. "Because of you my pup's sad. You had to come and mess things up. You. Are. A. Nuisance."

Richard wanted to choke him, the wolf inside agreeing completely. Both wanted this guy to pay for messing with him and his pup. He went on without letting Jeffery speak, his grip on the shirt getting tighter. "I change my mind. I'm going to drop you off a 50 story building."

Jeffery's smile faltered as Woxy darted out the door, but he plastered it back on as Richard turned around. Trish glanced between the boys and heaved a sigh. She picked herself off the floor and was after Roxy in a flash. Jeff watched the werewolf as fury began to build in him. He was trying really hard not to roll his eyes. "Great idea. Maybe you could spare me the misery of listening to a monologue? It's really getting old."

Wow, you sure can dig big holes. Kax commented. Good thing you haven't gotten the walls to cave in on you...yet.

"Shut up." Jeffery half-muttered to his shoulder. He turned an distasteful glare back to Richard. "You think you can just kill me? I'd like to see you try, mutt." Kax chuckled softly. He is pissed. What the Hell did you do?

Jeff ignored the question, his gaze darting back to the doorway where Woxy had gone. Can you get me free of these ropes? He asked Kax silently. There was no answer, but the knot moved slightly and he guessed the demon was working on it.

((Good time for Sammy to be added in?))
